Millennium Gardens has reached another important milestone in its sustainability journey. As of 1 January 2026, the office building’s entire electricity consumption is covered by electricity generated from renewable energy sources, commonly known as green electricity.
Under an agreement between Duna Kongresszus Kft. – a subsidiary of Revetas Capital and owner of Millennium Gardens – and CYEB Energiakereskedő Kft., the building will be supplied with electricity sourced exclusively from renewable energy throughout 2026, up to its annual contracted electricity volume. The supply is provided through CYEB’s ZÖLD 100 product, which guarantees 100% renewable electricity.
This transition to green electricity represents a significant step in reducing the building’s carbon emissions and environmental impact, while also supporting Hungary’s broader efforts to increase the share of renewable energy within the national energy mix.
The renewable origin of the electricity consumed at Millennium Gardens will be verified through Guarantees of Origin certificates, which will be issued following 31 March of the year after the consumption period, in accordance with applicable regulations.
By choosing renewable energy, Millennium Gardens continues to strengthen its commitment to responsible building operations and long-term environmental sustainability.
